Softball and Baseball

Every thursday night Todd plays church league softball in Moorhead. Here are some pictures from the game a few weeks ago.Abby and Matthew cheering on daddy. (ok, so the kids and women really don't pay much attention to whats going on during the game!)
Matthew and his friend (Todd's cousin) Adam in the dugout.
I'm sure this was a great hit, and Todd got home.
Matthew and mommy got to go on a little date a week or two ago to the Redhawks game. We had hotdogs, pop, cotten candy and alot of fun.
Matthew and Hawkeye. He usually hasn't liked him close up but this year I guess he does.

Strawberry Picking

Yesterday grandma Wanda called and asked if we would go and pick strawberry's with her. Here are a few pictures from that. I think that the kids ate more than they picked. Every time they ate one they would take a few bites out of the berry and then put it back in the bucket, half eaten. The extra boy in the picture is Drew . I am watching him for a few weeks, because his regular daycare lady had a baby.Abby picking a strawberry.
Drew, Matthew and Abby with the goods.
Abby eating out of the bucket. Believe it or not her face actually did get even more full of strawberry's than it is in this picture. I think it looks like she got a bloody face or something.

4th of July vacation in Black Hills

Over the 4th of July we took our annual trip to the Black Hills of South Dakota. We went with Jessica's mom and dad and Uncle Luke joined us for a few days too. Here are just a few pics from the vacation.
Matthew and Uncle Luke and Grandma Wanda got up really early one day and took a drive. They all were very tired the rest of the day then.
One day grandma Wanda and Jessica and the kids went to Old Mac Donald's farm. Abby loved it, she was not afraid of any animals. Matthew enjoyed it also, but it was apparent that Abby is more the farm type for now.
On the 3rd of July Mt. Rushmore shoots fireworks off the presidents heads. This is us waiting for the fireworks to start.
Matthew and Abby were in a kiddie parade in Custer. The both got there faces painted and were all decked out in there 4th of July gear.
