But I want to be four forever!

I usually don't post things unless I have a picture or video to go with it, but if I had a video to go with this story you all would be laughing so hard your stomach would explode.

So last night we were on our way to eat, just driving along in the van and Matthew all the sudden says "I want to be four forever" in a very cracky voice like he is starting to cry. Don't ask me what brought this on, because we had not talked about age or him being four at all that day. So anyway, Todd says "but don't you want to be five sometime?" Well this really brought on the tears and we were trying to convince Matthew that getting older was going to be really fun. Todd tried to tell him that he had to get older and then he could drive a car some day. Matthew's responce was....."well I get to drive on Grandma Tina's rode already." So that didn't work so then we said if he got older he could drive by hiself, which he really wasn't interested in doing. So finally after more tears about turning five some day Todd told Matthew that he could stay four if he wanted to and he can think about if he wants to be five some day. Matthew's responce was "Alright Dad, I'll think about it." What are we going to do with this kid!!!!!!!!!

Monster Jam!

Ever since the year Abby was born the boys have been going to Monster Trucks. This year was no exception. The day started out a little rocky since Matthew's Monster Truck shirt from last year was no where to be found. So after convincing him that he could wear a different shirt to the show and get a new Monster Truck shirt there they were off.
Matthew got to see his two favorite trucks,Superman and Grave Digger.
They got pit passes this year and Matthew even got his picture taken with Grave Diggers driver. From what I heard they had a pretty good time.

With a corn cob nose and two button eyes............

Since its been so warm out the snow was finally ready to make a "frosty" as Matthew calls them. So on Monday Matthew, Abby and I went out and played in the snow for a while. We had all the parts for a proper snowman including the carrots I had bought month's ago in hopes of using them sooner for a "frosty." They still worked even though they were way past the expiration date.
After I placed the three round balls to make the "frosty" Matthew ever so carefully placed the carrot nose and rock eyes and buttons on the "frosty"
The "frosty" was a success. Unfortunately a few hours later I looked out at the "frosty" and it was completely demolished. It started raining pretty good after we got inside and I think the rain did it. In Matthew's words "God needs to be more careful with his rain!"
