A Candel Lit Dinner For Four

So the other night I asked Matthew if he would set the table for us before supper. He set the table and then told us he wanted to eat with a candle and he already had everything ready for it. I went in and looked at the table and this is the candle he had and he had the lights off ready for our candle lit dinner. So cute. He was very proud of it so we did eat with the candle, but thankfully it wasn't to dark yet so we could still see with the natural light.
Matthew and his candle.
I can't leave Abby out of the post so here she is sporting one of her new B-day outfits from Grandma Tina. So Cute also!

Snowmobile Rides

A couple of weekends ago when it was actually warmer outside the kids went for a little ride on the snowmobile. I love pictures of Abby taken outside so that's the deal with the one above.
Matthew of course has his eyes closed, but the next picture is of the kids before their ride in the sled behind the snowmobile. They both seemed to enjoy it, and both liked the bumps they told me.
Grandpa Joe and Matthew. Matthew thinks he's pretty hot stuff right here. :)
Abby and Grandpa Joe, having fun on the sled! Thanks for the rides Grandpa Joe!

It was this big.........

Matthew went ice fishing with Grandpa Joe a few weeks ago. It sounded like he had a lot of fun. The pictures are backwards, but the first one is of the boys cutting their fish up and the second is Matthew with one of the fish he caught.

Here we go again.................

It seems like I just got Matthew potty trained and now I'm digging out the potty chair again! Since its been so cold this week and Abby is two now, I decided to introduce the potty chair to her. Nothing yet, but she sure likes to sit on it, and tells us how happy Matthew will be when she goes. Stay tuned for further updates.

Happy 2nd Birthday Abby!

Abby turned two on Tuesday! Matthew declared that she was having a princess birthday, so a princess party she got. Grandma Wanda made this doll cake for her, and she loved it.
Every girl needs a few princess outfits. Here she is sporting her Snow White outfit, she also got a Cinderella one. She needs a few of her girlfriends to come over so they can dress up now!

Presents for the Birthday girl.
More presents!!!!!!!!!
Abby and Matthew showing there love, well Matthew was anyways. Abby looks a little worried. Thanks to everyone who came and helped us celebrate Abby's big day. She had a blast!

So innocent...........

Abby looking a little to innocent.

Preschool Program

Matthew had his end of session one preschool program the other day. Here he is with his whole class. They don't have preschool again till March, when it is hopefully a little warmer out!
Sorry, I zoomed in a little to much with this one so it got blurry. Matthew at his program.

Oh No..........

Oh NO.............Abby got a burn. No worry's though she's doing just fine and its almost healed already. She got a little to close to the oven, but I'm pretty sure she learned her lesson about ovens. After we put the band-Aid on her the baby had to be sure to get on in the exact same spot.
Todd and I have been playing this game we got after Christmas called Blokus alot and Matthew and Abby (mainly Matthew) have been playing Boggle junior while we play our game. Matthew likes that he has a game that he actually gets how to play it, and Todd and I like it cuz lets be honest playing games with kids is not exactly fun! :)

In addition to ice skating Matthe has found that he really enjoys going sledding. There is a nice morderate hill very close to our house that we have gone to a few times. Abby likes it too, but can't last as long in the cold as Matthew. Here is Abby and Todd getting ready to sled.
Matthew and Abby going down the hill. WEEEEE!!!!!
