Halloween

A Few days before Halloween the kids and i decided to make and decorate cookies. The above picture4 is the finished product. I gave Matthew and Abby each a bowl with frosting and a cookie to decorate. Matthew put the frosting on and tons of sprinkles, and Abby got a spoon out and just ate the frosting and none of it made it on her cookie. Thats Abby for you. :)

Matthew came up with his costume for Halloween this year all on his own. He is a train conductor and had a very fun time trick or treating. Abby on the other hand woudl not put on any costume what so ever. The day of Halloween I found this cute puffy blue skirt and thought maybe she would wear that. Lone behold she put it on and was not happy about it right away, but she kept it on all night. I think that she figured out if she kept the skirt on she got candy. Smart girl.

My little baby's growing up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Matthew went to his first day of Preschool this morning! He is going to a preschool at the West Fargo High School. The kids from the Family Consumer Science class are learning about being teachers and stuff like that so they are his teachers and they do a theme and snack and all that fun preschool stuff. It goes for about two hours, so Abby and I will have to go pick him up soon. I can't wait to here about what he did in preschool! And I know what you are all thinking.........No, I didn't cry. One of the other moms did and that almost made me cry, not Matthew.
1st Day Of Preschool!!!!!!!!!!!

Big Brother the Helper!

The other night before bed Matthew was very insistent that he help Abby brush her teeth. It was to cute to not take a picture of!

Pumpkin Carving

This morning Matthew, Abby and mommy carved four pumpkins.

Leaf raking at the lake

On Saturday we went to the lake and helped with lead raking a tree cutting. Matthew did more leaf jumping than raking, and Abby would not go near the pile of leafs! I'm sure that will change next year.
Abby did help rake though. She had to concentrate very hard to do this.
Daddy and Matthew playing the leafs.
Mommy and Abby smiling for the camera.

Apple's in the fall

Last weekend I had my grandma show me how to make applesauce. We needed more apples for the sauce and also for the apple pie filling the Matthew helped Grandma Wanda make. Here are a few pictures of the kids picking apples and also helping cook.
What a nice brother, helping Abby reach an apple.
The bucket is full, now how are we going to get it in the house?

Dear Mr. Garbage Man.......

So the other day I fell asleep on the couch and woke up to Abby tearing apart a cassette tape of Matthews. He of course thought it could be fixed and I tried to tell him differently. After telling him it could notbe fixed and to trow it away he broke down in tears cuz he didn't want the garbage man to crunch it up in the truck. Todd had this great idea to write the garbage man a note. Here is Matthew with the note.

Dear Mr. Grabage man..........Please don't crunch my broken cassette tape. Thankyou, Matthew
